A refreshing and fizzy cocktail is just what we need to start another season of VPR!

Total Time: A few mins
Yield: 1 cocktail
What You'll Need:
Drink shaker (recommended, not required)
1 oz raspberry vodka
1 oz St. Germain (add extra for less acidity)
2 oz grapefruit juice
Splash of Prosecco Rose (leave about an inch for this at top of glass)
Fresh raspberries, for garnish
1 sprig basil, for garnish (don't skip this part, trust me)
ice
How to Make:
Measure vodka, St. Germain and grapefruit juice into a drink shaker filled with ice and shake about 20-30 seconds. This helps dilute the booze a little and makes sure your drink is icy cold!
Pour into an 8 oz cocktail glass filled with new, fresh ice, leaving about an inch at the top. If you have some extra cocktail in your shaker, save this for a refill as you sip!
Top off the last inch with Prosecco Rose, give a light stir, then garish with a few raspberries and sprig of basil. *Note: if it's too acidic for you, extra St. Germain will help offset this--adjust accordingly.
Enjoy while watching VPR season 11!
I've always thought the best way to start a new season of VPR would be to celebrate with a Sur inspired drank and of course---goat cheese balls (yes, yes, post coming)!! That being said, I perused the Sur cocktail menu this past week to look for some inspiration, and came across a drink called the "Sur Spritz." I was thrilled when I saw the ingredients, as I already had most on hand, with a few exceptions. Regardless, this drink is fancy enough to make the cut, and delicious enough to sip on for the duration of an episode, or over and over again for the full season. Make extra for your besties if you're hosting a viewing party, or keep for yourself. Cheers folks, to another season of our favorite reality tv degenerates!
